Japan introduces advance reporting requirement for transfers of technologies in which Japan has a competitive advantage

Effective 30 December 2024, regulations promulgated on 30 October 2024 will require intended technology transfers of the “Technologies Subject to Important Management” to be reported in advance to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
