Baker McKenzie wins Dealmaker of the Year for the second consecutive year at the ALB Japan Law Awards 2019

Baker & McKenzie(Gaikokuho Joint Enterprise) was awarded Dealmaker of the Year for the second consecutive year at the Asian Legal Business(ALB) Japan Law Awards held in Tokyo on 13 June 2019. Akifusa Takada, Head of the Corporate/M&A Group, is the first ever two-time, back-to-back winner of this award. According to the ALB, which is owned by Thomson Reuters, these prestigious awards pay tribute to outstanding performance by private practitioners and in-house teams that have significantly contributed to the evolving legal landscape of the region.
