Baker McKenzie advises Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd on its cross-border acquisition of the Rawson Group in Australia
Tokyo, Japan, 4 December 2017 – Baker McKenzie advised Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd on its proposed acquisition of Rawson Group Pty Ltd., a residential housing construction and land development business located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The Rawson Group is a 40-year-old private corporation focused on land development and the
construction of single-family homes in Sydney, New South Wales and in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
The Firm’s team was led by Tetsuo Tsujimoto, a partner in the Firm’s Corporate/M&A Practice Group in Tokyo. He was strongly supported in Tokyo by associate Tsubasa Kubota, in Sydney by partner Ben McLaughlin and associates Lawrence Mendes and Emily Hunter.
